Wall mount electric fireplaces are a great way to add warmth, ambiance and comfort anywhere you can hang a picture. The Galveston electric fireplace from Dimplex features can be mounted on a wall or fully recessed and features a glass ember bed. Patented 3D fire technology gives the fire depth and dancing flames. The flames can be used with or without heat, so the look of a fire can be enjoyed year-round. This firebox comes ready to be hardwired (240V) into your home or plugged into a standard 120 volt outlet. A hardwired 240V installation will operate at 2,430 watt/ 8,290 BTU and heat up a room up to 800 square feet. A 120V wall outlet installation will operate at 1,230 watt/ 4,198 BTU and heat a room up to 400 square feet. Once the temperature is set, the thermostat maintains the heat in the room using a fan-forced heater. With 90 percent less carbon dioxide emissions than average gas fireplaces and no harmful particles, electric fireplaces are the safe choice for your home. This unit can be flush-mounted with drywall or installed in an existing fireplace.
