Aquafire Lite is the entry point into real water vapor flame: the same patented Double Air-Vapor Flow system that sculpts the flame on the full-size models, in a shallower 9 1/4" deep chassis that drops into a slimmer wall. It runs 8 to 10 hours on a fill, plugs into a standard outlet, and produces no heat, no gas, no smoke and no venting requirement — making it the practical choice for a media wall, a bedroom, a bar back or a retrofit into an old firebox.

Choosing Your Configuration

Size is required. The Vapor Pure water softener and the Scent Diffuser are optional — leave both set to "Without" for the base fireplace. Hard water is the leading cause of shortened mist-maker life, so a Vapor Pure softener is strongly recommended anywhere in the NYC, Long Island or New Jersey service area. Choose Residential Grade (300 grains) for a home, Commercial Grade (700 grains) for a hospitality or high-run install.

The Lite Series is manual fill only — it uses the integrated pump and fill tube, and Aquafire states plainly that the Direct Plumb Kit is not compatible with the Lite. The Lite is also not gangable. Aquafire publishes the ClearShield wind screen as sized for the Aquafire and Aquafire Pro and does not list a Lite fitment, so please check with us before ordering one for a Lite. If your design needs direct plumbing, ganging or a wind screen, step up to the Aquafire Original or Aquafire Pro.

Cutout dimensions are critical — the insert is suspended in the opening from its flanges. Measure carefully and confirm against the installation guide before framing.

Warranty: Aquafire covers the Lite Series with a 2-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Operating the fireplace on untreated hard water is the most common cause of premature mist-maker failure and denied claims.
