Fire Magic Select 4-Series Vertical Single Access Door with Louvers - 44920-1
The same 304 stainless steel vertical door as the 44920, with ventilation louvers pressed into the panel. If the cabinet behind the door is going to hold a propane tank, this is the version to buy: a sealed cabinet containing a gas cylinder needs airflow, and the louvers provide it without opening the island up to driving rain.
It takes the same 21 in by 14 1/2 in opening as the plain 44920, so the two are interchangeable at the framing stage and the decision can be made on what the cabinet will actually hold. Choose the hinge side to suit the layout: 44920-1-SR is right-hinged, 44920-1-SL is left-hinged.
Key Features
- Ventilation louvers for propane tank storage. The reason this version exists. A cabinet holding a gas cylinder needs airflow, and louvers deliver it through the door face.
- Interchangeable with the plain 44920 opening. Identical 21 in by 14 1/2 in cut-out, so the choice between louvered and solid can be made after the island is framed.
- 304 stainless steel throughout. The grade that resists pitting and staining outdoors, including in coastal and poolside air.
- Double-wall construction. Two skins rather than one, so the panel feels solid and does not drum or flex when it closes.
- Heavy-duty magnetic latch. Holds shut against wind with nothing mechanical to wear out or fall out of adjustment.
- Continuous rain guard. Full-perimeter sealing around the frame, so the louvers handle airflow while the perimeter still keeps weather out.

Required to Complete the Installation
Nothing further is required to fit the door itself. It needs a finished island opening of 21 in high by 14 1/2 in wide, and there is no gas or electrical connection and no separate frame kit to buy.
If you are storing a propane cylinder behind this door, the louvers are part of the ventilation but not the whole of it. Follow the grill manufacturer's and your local code requirements for tank enclosure ventilation, which normally call for openings low in the enclosure as well, since propane is heavier than air and settles at the bottom of a cabinet.
Decide the hinge side before ordering, because it is set by the model number and is not changed in the field.

The cut-out dimensions for every 4-Series model are identical to the corresponding Select 3-Series model, so the installation specifications above cover this opening. Cut-out figures published here are taken from the current Fire Magic price list effective October 1, 2026.
Warranty
Fire Magic outdoor kitchen storage components are warranted against defects for three (3) years. The warranty applies to the original purchaser with proof of purchase and to single family residential use. Warranty claims are handled through your authorized Fire Magic dealer.
