Description
Description
Fire Magic Select 4-Series 14-Inch Vertical Single Access Door - 44920
A 304 stainless steel vertical access door for a 21 in by 14 1/2 in island opening, new for the 2027 Fire Magic Select line. Double-wall construction and square-edge detailing give it the weight and the clean shadow line of a much more expensive door, and the continuous rain guard runs the full perimeter rather than stopping at the corners.
This is the narrow single door that fits beside a grill cut-out or under a side burner, and it is the most common way to get sealed access to the inside of an island. Choose the hinge side to suit the layout: 44920-SR is right-hinged, 44920-SL is left-hinged.
Key Features
- 304 stainless steel throughout. The grade that resists pitting and staining in an outdoor kitchen, including in coastal and poolside air.
- Double-wall construction. The door panel is built as two skins rather than one, so it feels solid, resists denting, and does not drum or flex when it closes.
- Heavy-duty magnetic latch. Holds the door shut against wind without a mechanical catch to wear out or fall out of adjustment.
- Continuous rain guard. Full-perimeter protection against water intrusion, which keeps the inside of the island, and anything stored there, dry.
- Square-edge detailing and exterior mounting. The frame sits proud of the island face, which makes it far more forgiving of an opening that is slightly out of square than a flush-mounted door is.
- Right or left hinge. Pick the swing that clears your traffic path and any adjacent appliance door.

Required to Complete the Installation
Nothing further is required. This is an exterior-mounted door with no gas or electrical connection and no separate frame kit to buy. It needs a finished island opening of 21 in high by 14 1/2 in wide.
Decide the hinge side before ordering, because it is set by the model number and is not changed in the field. 44920-SR is right-hinged and 44920-SL is left-hinged.
Optional Accessories and Matching Units
The Select 4-Series also includes horizontal single doors at 20 1/2 in and 24 1/2 in wide (44914, 44917), a taller 17 1/2 in vertical door (44924), a vertical door with louvers for propane tank ventilation (44920-1), double access doors at 30 in and 39 in (44930S, 44938S) and the 31 in large utility drawer (44830-S), so a whole island face can be finished in one series. Matching units are linked below.

Note on documentation: Fire Magic has not yet published a 4-Series specific installation sheet. The cut-out dimensions for every 4-Series model are identical to the corresponding Select 3-Series model, so the installation specifications above cover this opening. Cut-out figures published here are taken from the current Fire Magic price list effective October 1, 2026.
Warranty
Fire Magic outdoor kitchen storage components are warranted against defects for three (3) years. The warranty applies to the original purchaser with proof of purchase and to single family residential use. Warranty claims are handled through your authorized Fire Magic dealer.
