Description

Fire Magic Echelon Black Vertical Single Access Door - 53920BSC

A 14 1/2 in vertical access door in black powder coat over 304 stainless steel, sized for the narrow openings that sit either side of a grill. This is the most-used door in the Echelon Black Collection because it is the one that fills the leftover frontage in almost every island layout. Choose left or right hinge to suit the run.

Key Features

  • Black powder coat over 304 stainless steel. Built to match the Echelon Black grill and the rest of the Echelon Black storage line so the island face reads as a single run of cabinetry.
  • Left or right hinge, ordered as built. The hinge side is set at the factory, not field-reversible, so pick the swing that clears your grill and traffic path.
  • Soft-close hinges. The door pulls itself shut over the last inch and settles quietly rather than rebounding off the frame.
  • Polyurethane foam filled panel. Adds insulation, strength and solidity, which is what gives the door its weight in the hand.
  • Continuous rain guard gasket. Full-perimeter sealing keeps water out of the island enclosure.
  • Flush-mounted design. Sits clean against the island face with no proud edges.

Required to Complete the Installation

Nothing further is required. There is no gas, fuel or electrical connection and no separate frame kit. The door needs a finished island opening of 21 in high by 14 1/2 in wide. Decide the hinge side before ordering: the hinge is set at the factory and cannot be reversed in the field, so a door ordered with the wrong swing has to be exchanged rather than adjusted.

Optional Accessories and Matching Units

The Echelon Black Collection includes matching drawers, double access doors, and door and drawer combinations in the same finish. The matching double drawer (53802BSC), the 36 in access door with platter storage and double drawer (53816BSC), the 30 in access door and double drawer combo (53810BSC) and the 30 in double access doors (53930BSC) are linked below.
