The TrueFlame TF-DV-18 is a 304 stainless steel vertical single access door for an outdoor kitchen island; it fits under side burners and beside a grill, per the current listing. The door has a flush mount return for stucco, wood or metal finished islands, and TrueFlame's cutout sheet calls for a 14-3/8 x 19-1/2 in. opening.

Installation Notes

Cut and frame the opening to 14-3/8 x 19-1/2 in. and check it against the current TrueFlame cutout sheet before the countertop goes on. Finish the island face before the flush door goes in. In New York City, gas work in an outdoor kitchen must be done by a licensed plumber and may need DOB filings.

What size opening do I cut?

14-3/8 in. wide by 19-1/2 in. high, per TrueFlame. TrueFlame suggests adding 1/4 in. so the frame fits.

Flush or masonry?
