The Amantii Fire & Ice RusticStone RS36 is a 36 inch class built-in electric fireplace with a traditional firebox look and a pre-set log set, made for a framed wall or a new mantel. It runs on a standard 120V outlet or can be hardwired at 240V to double the heater output, and it connects to the TuyaSmart Life app over WiFi. A good fit for a living room or bedroom where you want a classic fireplace face without gas, a flue or a chimney.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included per Amantii: fireplace with glass front and pre-set log set, plus remote control. Other decorative media is optional
  • Required: a framed 32-5/8 x 23-1/8 x 9-7/8 in opening and a grounded 120V outlet, ideally on a dedicated circuit
  • For 240V heat: a hardwired 240V circuit installed by an electrician (the power cord is removed when hardwired)
  • Optional: RS36-3 or RS36-4 trim kit and deluxe media kits such as Oak 18-piece or Birch 15-piece

Installation Notes

This is an indoor electric appliance with no gas line, vent or chimney, which makes it a practical choice for New York City apartments and co-ops where gas or wood fireplaces are not an option. Amantii asks for at least 1/4 in of space around the unit in the framed opening and a location that is not prone to moisture. Test the fireplace on a 120V outlet before closing the wall. Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need 240V?

No. It plugs into a standard 120V outlet for 5,000 BTU. Hardwiring at 240V raises the heater to 10,000 BTU.

What size opening do I frame?

32-5/8 in wide, 23-1/8 in high and 9-7/8 in deep per the Amantii manual.

Can I change the logs?

Yes. The pre-set log set lifts out, and Amantii deluxe media kits can be used in the tray instead.

Can it go outdoors?

No. The manual calls for a location that is not prone to moisture, and prolonged moisture voids the warranty.

Warranty

Amantii gives a one year limited warranty against defects in material and workmanship from the date of original purchase, for the original owner when bought through an authorized Amantii dealer. Labor, installation and transportation costs are not covered, and prolonged moisture or condensation, misuse or missing proof of purchase void coverage.
