The Amantii Symmetry Xtra Tall 34 (SYM-34-XT) is the tall-glass version of the Symmetry, with a 17-5/8 inch high viewing area that gives a fuller flame than a standard linear unit of the same width. It recesses into a framed wall for a clean-face finish, and Amantii approves it for bathrooms on a GFCI circuit and for outdoor areas protected from direct water, which makes it a flexible choice for a bedroom, bath or small living room.

Installation Notes
This is a built-in electric appliance with no gas line, vent or chimney, a practical choice for New York City apartments and condos where gas fireplaces are not an option. Leave 1/4 in around the unit in the framed opening and test it on a 120V outlet before finishing the wall. Outdoors it must be protected from direct water with Amantii's overhang rule; in a bathroom it needs GFCI protection. Hardwiring must be done by a qualified electrician to local code. Book a free design consultation and we will help you plan the wall and power.

Frequently Asked Questions
How deep an opening does it need?
12-1/4 in deep, 32-7/8 in wide and 20-1/2 in high per the Amantii manual.
What makes it Xtra Tall?
The glass is 17-5/8 in high, so you see more flame and media than on a standard Symmetry of the same width.
Can it go in a bathroom or outside?
Yes. Bathrooms need a GFCI receptacle or circuit, and outdoor installs must be protected from direct water with the overhang Amantii specifies.
Can I change the media?
Yes. It ships with clear glass, and Amantii's deluxe log and glass kits can be added.
