What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

Place the grill on a level, non-combustible surface, and keep 14 in from the sides and 16 in from the back to combustible construction. XO says never to use the grill under overhead combustible construction, in any enclosed area, or on a balcony, deck or patio above the ground floor of your home. That matters in New York City, where many terraces and roofs fall into that category and propane cylinder use is heavily restricted, so confirm your site before ordering. Is the rotisserie included?

XO's spec sheet says the grill comes with the rear infrared rotisserie burner, waterproof motor and spit for up to 25 lb of food, but the owner's manual lists the rotisserie kit as optional. We confirm the kit is in your order.

Can I use it on a terrace or roof deck?

XO's manual says never to use the grill on a balcony, deck or patio above the ground floor. Ask our team about your specific site before ordering.

Natural gas or propane?

Choose the fuel when ordering. Natural gas is usually the practical choice in New York City, where propane cylinder use is heavily restricted.

Can I build the 30 inch head into an island later?

XO lists the head as built-in or freestanding and publishes a 28 3/4 by 24 inch cutout, and it requires an insulated jacket where combustible materials are present. Talk to us before you plan an island.

Warranty

Per XO's limited warranty for residential use: lifetime on the cast stainless steel main burners and fabricated stainless steel housing; five years on briquette trays, stainless steel grates, drip pans and gas valves; two years on all other grill components.
