The Blaze 20 in 4.5 cu ft beverage cooler (BLZ-GDBEV20-4.5) is an outdoor-rated, 304 stainless steel cooler with a UV-protected glass door, so guests can see what is inside without letting the cold out. It holds up to 147 cans or 30 wine bottles and runs from 34 to 68 F, which covers beer and soda at the cold end and wine at the warm end.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

- You will need: a dedicated grounded 115 V outlet (GFCI protected outdoors) and, for a built-in, an island bay sized to the cutout with rear ventilation
Installation Notes
Blaze designs this unit to run freestanding or built in. When you recess it into an island, Blaze's manual calls for at least 2 in of clearance at the sides and top, ventilation at the back for the compressor and condenser, and a completely unobstructed front grille. Let it stand upright for about 24 hours before plugging it in, then level it with the four legs.
It needs a dedicated, grounded 115 V outlet on a 15 A circuit with no extension cord; outdoor outlets should be GFCI protected and installed by a licensed electrician. Blaze recommends an area that stays between about 60 F and 90 F and is sheltered from wind, rain and water spray, so a covered patio or a recessed island bay will give the best performance and the longest life.

Can it store wine?
Yes. The range runs up to 68 F, and Blaze rates it for 30 standard 750 ml bottles.
Will sun hurt the drinks through the glass?
The glass is UV protected, but Blaze still recommends a shaded, sheltered location for best cooling.
Is it the same size as the Blaze 20 in fridge?
Yes. It shares the 20-1/2 x 22-5/8 x 33-1/8 in cabinet with the BLZ-SSRF20-4.3 solid door refrigerator, so the two can sit side by side.

Warranty
Blaze provides a 1 year full replacement warranty and extended parts and compressor coverage for the original owner at the original site, residential use only; labor, shipping and diagnostic charges are not covered and damage from improper installation or misuse is excluded. Blaze's 2025 product flyer describes the extended coverage as 5 years on the compressor and 2 years on other non-consumable parts, while the warranty page in the current manual lists 5 years on components and 2 years on the compressor, so confirm the terms on your registration.
