Installation Notes
Measure from the top of the hood to the ceiling before ordering: this cover suits a gap of 22 to 41 in; for a shorter gap choose the low-ceiling version. Blaze's vent hood manual calls for 36 to 40 in between the cooking surface and the bottom of the hood, straight metal duct runs with as few elbows as possible, and no termination into an attic or enclosed space.
Covered terraces and pergolas in New York City often need building approval for exhaust ducting. Planning a hood over your grill? Book a design consultation.
