The Blaze Professional LUX 34-Inch (BLZ-3PRO) is the heavy-gauge flagship of the Blaze line: three commercial-quality cast stainless H-burners, a 10,000 BTU infrared rear burner with rotisserie kit, and extra-thick hexagon rods over full-coverage flame stabilizing grids. Installation Notes
Blaze requires a non-combustible enclosure, or its insulated jacket in a combustible island, with 18 inches to combustible material at the sides and back and 5 inches behind for lid travel. Keep 6 feet to overhead construction, and use a vent hood of at least 1,200 CFM under any combustible overhead. Propane needs an LP regulator set for 11 in WC. Gas piping must meet local code, and in New York City the gas connection must be made by a licensed master plumber under permit. Is the rotisserie included?
Yes. The rotisserie kit with waterproof motor is included and runs off the 10,000 BTU infrared rear burner.
Professional LUX or LTE?
The Professional uses cast H-burners at 18,000 BTU each, 12 gauge flame stabilizing grids and a double-lined hood; it is Blaze's heavier-gauge line.
Do I need the insulated jacket?
Only in a combustible island. Blaze requires the BLZ-3PRO-IJ jacket in that case, with a 34-3/4" x 24-7/8" x 11-1/2" cutout.
Does it need power?
Yes, a 110V source on a 15 A GFI-protected breaker for the lights.
