The Primo Oval Large 300 (PGCLGH) is a mid-size oval kamado that grills, sears, bakes, roasts and smokes, sold here on a complete freestanding base: Primo's steel cart with storage basket, the cart with folding stainless steel side shelves, or the unfinished cypress countertop table.
It cooks on 300 sq in, or 495 sq in with the optional rack system, which comfortably handles a meal for 5 to 10 people, and it is made in the USA from premium-grade ceramic with a porcelain glaze.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes
Primo requires 12 in. of clearance behind the grill for the lid to open and at least 2 in. around the exterior, per the spec sheet. Use the grill outdoors only, never use lighter fluid, and set the grill on Primo ceramic feet on any surface other than a metal stand. In New York City, the NYC Fire Code restricts charcoal and other open-flame grills on balconies, terraces and rooftops, so confirm your building and FDNY rules before ordering. Book a design consultation if you want to build the Primo into an outdoor kitchen instead.

Which base should I choose?
The steel cart is the most compact and rolls on locking casters; side shelves add prep space; the cypress table gives the most counter space.
Can it smoke and sear?
Yes. The oval firebox can be split with a divider for two-zone cooking, so you can sear over direct heat on one side and roast or smoke indirectly on the other.
How many people does it feed?
Primo sizes the Oval Large 300 for about 5 to 10 people.
Can I use it in New York City?
On a backyard or ground-level patio, usually. The NYC Fire Code restricts charcoal grills on balconies, terraces and rooftops, so check your building and FDNY rules first.

Warranty
Primo Grills and Smokers limited warranty, per the Primo owner's manual: Limited Lifetime Warranty backed by a 20-year guarantee on ceramic parts, five (5) years on all metal parts (excluding cast-iron parts), one (1) year on cast-iron parts, one (1) year on cooking grates, and thirty (30) days on thermometers and felt gaskets, for the original purchaser. Coverage is repair or replacement of parts Primo finds defective under normal use, with replacement parts shipped at the purchaser's expense; damage from accident, misuse, improper installation or maintenance, and cracks or chips in the exterior glaze after delivery to the dealer are excluded.
