Description
Description
Overall Dimensions: Built-in 32.5" W x 28.5" D x 28.19" H (countertop model dimensions not published in the sources we checked)
The Delta Heat 30 inch gas pizza oven is a stainless steel outdoor oven with separate, independently controlled hearth and dome burners, so you can run the floor and the roof of the oven at different heats and finish a pizza in minutes. It is American made by Dometic and sold in two forms on this page: a built-in model for an island or masonry enclosure and a countertop (freestanding) model.
A 43,000 BTU total input, cordierite hearth and dome stones, hot surface ignition on both burners and removable Ceran glass doors make it a practical choice for a kitchen that wants a gas pizza oven with no wood to tend.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included (per manual): dome stone, two hearth stones, rear burner, hearth burner, left and right doors, flue cover and the NG or LP regulator
- Required: for the built-in model, a noncombustible enclosure built to Delta Heat's dimensions; for the countertop model, a level, noncombustible surface
- Required: a gas line for your fuel and a nearby GFCI-protected 120V outlet for the 12V power supply
- Optional: a Delta Heat pizza oven cover and wood rack are listed by dealers; ask us for availability, as the grill covers we stock are not sized for this oven
Installation Notes
Never connect the oven to an unregulated gas supply, and keep the factory regulator in place. Observe the 12 in clearances to combustibles in the manual, use a noncombustible enclosure for the built-in model and have the gas line installed by a qualified installer. In New York City, gas work must be done by a licensed master plumber under a DOB permit, and propane tank storage carries FDNY rules, so confirm your fuel with us before you order. We install in NYC, Long Island, Westchester and New Jersey. Book a free design consultation and we will help you plan the layout, utilities and installation.
Documentation
Frequently Asked Questions
How hot does it get?
The manual targets about 650 to 700 F on the hearth and 700 to 750 F in the dome after about 15 minutes of preheating on HI with the doors closed.
Built-in or countertop?
The built-in model drops into a noncombustible enclosure; the countertop model sits on a level surface on its adjustable feet. Choose the type in the options above.
Does it need electricity?
Yes. It uses a 12V DC supply on a grounded 3-prong plug, and the manual advises a GFCI-protected 120V outlet. The burners can be lit with a match if power is out.
Natural gas or propane?
Both are offered. The factory regulator is set to 4 in. w.c. for natural gas and 11 in. w.c. for propane and must not be removed.
