The Dimplex Ignite Aspire ASP30 is a 30-inch built-in electric firebox with a classic, deeper-set viewing area, Dynamic-Fire flames and rhythmic inner glow logs over a tumbled glass ember bed. It suits a traditional mantel or custom surround where there is no gas line or chimney, and the heater can be turned off for flame-only enjoyment all year. A 120V or 240V Comfort$aver heater, app control and four install configurations make it flexible for small rooms.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: firebox with front, side and reflective glass, 8 logs, tumbled glass embers, gravel and glass chunks, top grille, sill trim, kick plate, remote with wall mount, batteries, mounting hardware and a 120V plug kit (per the owner's manual)
- Required: a dedicated, properly fused 15 A circuit, a framed opening, and a licensed electrician for any new circuit or hardwiring

Installation Notes
Frame the opening at 30-3/4 in W x 38 in H x 18 in D. The firebox is not load-bearing, so frame it so building materials do not press on the top, and wiring connects at the top right corner at the back. Keep the top at least 24 in from the ceiling and do not use an extension cord. Use indoors only. This is an electric unit with no gas line, vent or chimney, which makes it a practical choice for New York City apartments, condos and townhouses where gas or vented fireplaces are not an option. Does the ASP30 need a plug kit or hardwiring?
The standard install is hardwired. A 120V plug kit is listed in the package contents of the owner's manual, and the power cord option is only for 120V.
Can I use it outdoors?
No. Dimplex states that the Aspire firebox must not be used outdoors.
How much heat does it give?
1,500 W and 5,118 BTU at 120V, or 2,500 W and 8,530 BTU at 240V, for supplemental heat of up to 1,000 sq ft. You can also run flames only.
Can I install it in a corner or bay?
Yes, with the convertible trim kit sold separately. Remove the side panel or panels for left, right or bay-style installs.

Warranty
Dimplex provides a 5-year limited warranty from the date of first purchase, with in-home parts and service for the original purchaser. Trims and accessory packages are excluded.
