Description
Description
Overall Dimensions: 61-1/4 in W x 5-3/4 in D x 16-1/2 in H (with trim)
The Dimplex Ignite Evolve 60 (EVO60) is a 60-inch built-in linear electric fireplace with the Multi-Fire XD flame over multi-tonal tumbled glass and driftwood molded from real logs. It fits media walls and open living rooms without a vent or gas line, and Dimplex now certifies the Evolve line for outdoor use. A flush, edgeless face that butts against stone or tile and a 240V heater option set it apart.

Installation Notes
Frame the opening flush with the finished wall; stone or brick finishes may overhang the face by no more than 1/2 in. The 120V cord option is for 120V only and extension cords must not be used. For outdoor use, follow the current Dimplex outdoor installation guidance; the store-hosted manual is an earlier indoor revision that says not to use the unit outdoors. This is an electric unit with no gas line, vent or chimney, which makes it a practical choice for New York City apartments, condos and townhouses where gas or vented fireplaces are not an option. Hardwiring or any new circuit should be done by a licensed electrician to local code. Book a free design consultation and we will help you plan the layout, utilities and installation.
Warranty
Dimplex provides a 5-year limited warranty for indoor installations, including parts and in-home service, and a 1-year limited warranty for outdoor installations. The XLFTRIM60 trim kit carries a 1-year warranty.
Documentation
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the EVO60 go outdoors?
Dimplex certifies Ignite Evolve for outdoor use with a 1-year warranty outdoors versus 5 years indoors. Follow the current Dimplex outdoor guidance for the covering and circuit protection.
Do I need the trim kit?
Not in a 2x6 wall, where the unit recesses fully. In a 2x4 wall Dimplex recommends the XLFTRIM60 trim kit.
Should I wire it for 120V or 240V?
The flame is identical. 240V raises heat from 1,500 W to 2,500 W. For ambiance, 120V is simpler.
Does it need a vent or gas line?
No. It is electric and needs only a dedicated 15 A circuit.
