The Dimplex Ignite Ultra 100 (ULT100) is a 100-inch built-in linear electric fireplace and the flagship of the Ignite line, pairing the Dynamic-Fire flame with Rhythmic inner glow logs that pulse with the flames and ember bed. It is made for a great room, a long media wall or a commercial lobby. What you pay for is the most lifelike log and flame combination Dimplex makes, real crackling fire sound, and one firebox that installs front-facing, left corner, right corner or as a three-sided bay.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: firebox with front glass and two side glass panels, reflective glass, Multi-Fire flicker rod, 14 Rhythmic logs, tumbled glass embers, gravel and glass chunks, 120V plug kit, sill trim, open side brackets and trim, top grill, remote with wall mount and AAA batteries, mounting and linking brackets, hardware, bubble level, suction cups
- Required: a dedicated 15A circuit at 120V or 240V (240V must be hardwired), installed by a licensed electrician
- Required: a framed opening 100-3/4" W x 28" H x 15" D; the unit is not load-bearing
- Optional media and logs, selectable above: Dimplex ember bed media (river rock, black rock, acrylic crystals) and Dimplex faux wood log sets
Installation Notes
Two or more people are needed to set the firebox, using the handles at the top of each side. Frame the opening to the table above, plan the power feed to the top right rear corner, and decide on front, corner or bay before framing, since side panels and open-side trim change with the configuration. The 120V plug kit must plug directly into a wall outlet, never an extension cord; 240V is hardwire only. Keep combustibles 3 ft from the front. In normal heat mode, surfaces 10" above the fireplace stay under 40 C, but follow your TV or mantel maker's heat guidance. Mount within Wi-Fi range if you plan to use the app. Because it is electric and needs no vent or gas line, the Ultra is a practical fit for New York City apartments and townhouses. Warranty
Dimplex Ignite Ultra 5-year limited warranty for the original purchaser, with on-site or in-home warranty service. Trims and accessory packages are excluded.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the Ignite Ultra 100 go in a corner?
Yes. Side panels remove so the same ULT100 installs front-facing, left corner, right corner or as a bay. Choose before framing because the open-side framing and trim differ.
Is the Ignite Ultra rated for outdoor use?
No. The Ultra manual says not to use it outdoors. For a covered patio, look at the Ignite Evolve, which Dimplex certifies for covered outdoor use.
Should I wire it for 120V or 240V?
The flame is the same either way. 240V raises heat from 1,500 W to 2,500 W, and 120V can use the included plug kit for a simpler install.
Can I mount a TV above it?
Yes. Dimplex states surfaces 10" above the unit stay under 40 C in normal heat mode; confirm your TV maker's limits, or run the fireplace with heat off.
