Description
Description
Overall Dimensions: 43-1/4 in W x 31 in H x 12-1/8 in D (Dimplex Revillusion manual)
The Dimplex Revillusion 42 inch built-in electric firebox in Herringbone (REV42-HB) gives a traditional wood-burning look without a chimney or gas line. Dimplex's patented Revillusion flame effect and a reflective acrylic panel make the flames appear to rise from within handcrafted Realogs, which are made from real wood and lit from inside, over an ember bed of tumbled glass and black gravel. The herringbone brick backer suits a classic or modern room, and the unit can be plugged in or hardwired at 120V, or hardwired at 208V or 240V for more heat. With no venting it is a practical choice for a New York City apartment. Dimplex also makes this size in Black, Neutral Brick and Weathered Concrete.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: firebox, remote control, tumbled glass embers, front glass, glass trim, plug kit (power cord assembly and 4 wire connectors), glass brackets, door pins, nuts and the installation guide
- Required: a framed opening to the dimensions above and hardware to secure the four mounting flanges (not included)
- Power: Dimplex recommends a dedicated, properly fused 15 A circuit at the chosen voltage (120V, 208V or 240V)
Installation Notes
Keep the firebox out of contact with any vapor barrier or insulation, and do not recess the front of the firebox, since that blocks heater airflow. Level it in the framing, secure the mounting flanges, then spread the glass embers and fit the front glass. Hardwired 208V and 240V connections must follow local electrical code; in New York City that work should be done by a licensed electrician.
