What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Vital Sense SEN60 fireplace with front glass
- Plug kit and remote control
- You will need: a 15 A, 120V circuit (dedicated recommended) and framing for a recessed install, or a wall-mount location
Optional Accessories
Installation Notes
Dimplex recommends a dedicated, properly fused 15 A, 120V circuit; a dedicated circuit becomes necessary if the breaker trips when the heater runs. When hardwiring with a wall switch, use a single pole, single throw switch rated for at least 15 A. Keep at least 1/2 in of air space behind the unit.
Electric fireplaces need no chimney, vent or gas line, which makes them one of the few fireplace options most New York City co-op and condo boards approve. Any hardwired connection is electrical work for a licensed electrician in NYC.
