Installation Notes
Slide the firebox into a mantel, cabinet or existing fireplace opening of at least 31-5/8 x 22-5/8 x 8 in (W x H x D) and secure it with the supplied screws or L-bracket. Plug it into a properly grounded 120V outlet on a 15 A circuit, ideally a dedicated one, and never use an extension cord. If installing in an existing fireplace, seal drafts from the chimney first.
Electric fireplaces need no chimney, vent or gas line, which makes them one of the few fireplace options most New York City co-op and condo boards approve. Any hardwired connection is electrical work for a licensed electrician in NYC.
