The Dometic E-Series 24-Inch Beverage Center (EA24B) is an outdoor-rated glass door refrigerator with a key lock and a zero-clearance hinge you can reverse in the field. Its 5.3 cubic feet hold drinks on wire shelves behind a stainless frame, and the digital touch control keeps it between 34 F and 72 F. It suits an outdoor bar or kitchen island where guests should see the drinks and the owner wants them locked when the house is closed.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Required: a 24" x 26" x 34.25" to 35.25" opening in the island and a grounded 120V outlet; Dometic requires a level, stable base
  • Recommended: a ground fault protected outdoor circuit installed by a licensed electrician

Installation Notes

Level the unit with the adjustable feet, keep the front ventilation openings unobstructed and lock the door before moving it. To change the swing, follow the hinge exchange steps in the Dometic manual. Dometic rates it for ambient temperatures from 50 F to 100 F, so in the New York area plan to winterize it or turn it off through the cold months. Any new outdoor circuit should be installed by a licensed electrician to local code. Book a design consultation and we will lay out refrigeration, grill and storage in one island.

Yes. The hinge is field reversible and a hinge exchange kit is included.

Does it lock?

Yes. The EA24B has a key lock on the door.

Is it ENERGY STAR certified?

Dometic's EA24 spec sheet lists ENERGY STAR for the EA24D and EA24F only, so we do not list it for the EA24B.

Can it stay outside in winter?

Dometic rates it for 50 F to 100 F ambient, so shut it down or winterize it when temperatures drop below that.

Warranty

Dometic limited warranty for residential outdoor refrigerators: two years on parts, labor and freight, and five years on the sealed system (compressor, condenser, dryer, connecting tubing and evaporator), for the original purchaser within the continental United States. Damage from lack of normal maintenance is excluded.
