The EcoSmart Fire Stix is an award-winning sculptural fire pit whose geometric rods evoke a classic campfire. It burns e-NRG bioethanol in an AB3 burner, so there is no smoke, ash, soot or gas line, and it can be unpacked, set in place and lit. Choose a brushed stainless or black surround, each with a stainless or black burner, and pair it with the larger Stix 8 for a grouped look.

Installation Notes

EcoSmart's current spec sheet rates the Stix for outdoor use. Set it on a level, non-combustible surface away from overhanging branches and items that can move in the wind, and keep the clearances in the EcoSmart manual. In coastal areas or near pools, EcoSmart says to wash it down regularly to remove salt or pool water and prevent rust. Open flame is restricted on many NYC terraces and rooftops, so confirm with your building or co-op before ordering. Does the Stix need a gas line?

No. It burns e-NRG bioethanol from a refillable AB3 burner, with no gas or electrical connection.

Can I use it indoors?

EcoSmart's current spec sheet lists the Stix application as outdoor.

How long does a fill last?

About 8 to 11 hours from the 2.5 L AB3 burner.

How is it different from the Stix 8?

The Stix is 30.7 in tall with an AB3 burner; the Stix 8 is 42.7 in tall with the larger AB8 burner and comes in black only.

Warranty

Per the EcoSmart operations manual, stainless steel parts, including powder coated and black ceramic coated finishes, carry a 2-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, and mild steel, glass and other listed materials carry 1 year. Chips and scratches are not covered. Where snow accumulates, EcoSmart requires its cover to be used to keep coverage.
