The EcoSmart Fire Pod 30 is the smallest bowl in the Pod Series, a pottery-inspired fire pit in Fluid Concrete with a choice of an AB8 bioethanol burner or an outdoor LP/NG gas burner. It comes in Natural, Graphite or Bone, sits on 360 degree height-adjustable articulating feet, and with ethanol or a propane tank it needs no hard utility connection, so it is easy to relocate on a patio or terrace.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Required: e-NRG bioethanol fuel for ethanol models, or a propane tank or natural gas supply for gas models

Installation Notes

Gas models are for outdoor use only, and a hard-piped natural gas connection must be made by a qualified installer; in New York City that means a licensed master plumber under a DOB permit, and FDNY restricts propane cylinder storage and use, so many city terraces cannot use a propane tank. Ethanol models can be used outdoors, or indoors with the EcoSmart indoor safety tray and efficiency ring in a room of at least 4,096 cu ft. Frequently Asked Questions

Ethanol or gas?

Ethanol needs no connection and can go indoors with the safety tray; gas gives far more heat (65,000 BTU/h) but is outdoor only.

Can I move it?

Yes, with ethanol or a propane tank there is no hard utility connection; the bowl weighs about 86.4 lb.

How long does the ethanol burner run?

About 7 to 9 hours per 8 L fill, or 9 to 11 hours with the efficiency ring.

Which colors are available?

Natural, Graphite and Bone Fluid Concrete.

Warranty

Per the EcoSmart operations manual, stainless steel parts, including black ceramic coated, carry a 2-year limited warranty from purchase, and cement, glass and other listed materials carry 1 year. Chips, scratches and non-structural hairline cracks in Fluid Concrete are not covered, and where snow accumulates EcoSmart requires its cover to keep coverage.
