Description

Available Sizes: Dimplex Revillusion Plug-In Log Sets

20" (Current Size) | 25"

Overall Dimensions: 23.7 x 19.0 x 12.5 in (W x H x D), per the Dimplex RLG20 manual

The Dimplex Revillusion RLG20 is a 20 in plug-in electric log set that turns an existing fireplace opening, or a cabinet or media niche you build, into a working electric fireplace. LED-lit Realogs and a Mirage flame panel sit in front of the firebox, so you see flames from within the logs and the original firebox behind them.

Features

  • Plugs into a standard grounded 120 V outlet; no venting or gas line
  • 1,500 W fan heater with Low and High settings, or run the flames without heat
  • 360 degree light on the sides and back: white flickering, white solid or off
  • Four log brightness settings and a multi-function remote with about 30 ft range
  • Optional ember mat (With Ash Mat option, REM-KIT) plugs into the grate box

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • RLG20 log set with grate, Realogs and Mirage flame panel
  • Multi-function remote control
  • You will need: an opening at least as large as the minimum size and a grounded outlet

Installation Notes

Seal drafts and vents in an existing fireplace opening with non-fibrous insulation so chimney debris cannot fall on the unit, and do not install in a damp opening. Lift the unit by the heater box, never by the logs. On carpet, set it on one solid flat board.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use it in my wood fireplace?

Yes, as long as the opening meets the minimum size and the flue is sealed against drafts and debris. The fireplace is then used only for the electric log set.

Does it heat?

Yes. The 1,500 W heater has Low and High settings and can be turned off while the flames run.

Do I need an electrician?

It plugs in, but Dimplex requires a 15 A, 120 V circuit, and a dedicated circuit if the breaker trips.
