The Warming Trends AON S40 is a 40 in. square powder-coated steel gas fire table built around a 140,000 BTU CROSSFIRE brass burner with the WATERSTOP fitting, which protects the gas line and ignition from water and debris. It ships fully assembled with a 20 in. square ventilated aluminum pan, a flush-mount aluminum cover that turns it into a table top when the fire is off, a recessed control box and adjustable leveling feet. Choose natural gas or propane, push button or Mercury ignition, and black, charcoal, bronze or sand pebble powder coat.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

- Natural gas units: pre-installed flex line to connect to the gas supply
- Propane units: pre-installed 10 ft, 200,000 BTU LP regulator hose; the tank sits outside the table, at least 36 in. away
- Required: a licensed gas installer and, for natural gas, a shutoff valve outside the table
- Optional, sold separately: lava rock or fire glass media (1/2 in. or larger) and a weatherproof cover
Installation Notes
Place the table on a level, non-combustible surface outdoors with 36 in. side and 72 in. overhead clearance, level it so there is at least 1 in. of air under the kick plate, and have a licensed gas professional connect the supply and leak test, per the Warming Trends AON owner's guide. Natural gas installs need a shutoff valve outside the table. Keep it away from windows or vents that open into the home. In New York City, fixed gas piping requires a licensed master plumber and permits, and rules for open flame and propane on terraces and rooftops vary by building, so confirm what is allowed before you order. Warming Trends warranty (AON owner's guide V1.4): CROSSFIRE burner full lifetime, transferable; AON fabrication and structure 3 years from purchase for residential use (1 year commercial); powder coating 12 months from delivery; Mercury Ignition System 3 years residential; push button ignition pre-installed on the AON 1 year. Labor is not covered, sun fading and chips on the flush lid edges are excluded, and ceramic or steel media must stay at least 4 in. from the edges.
