The Amantii Fire and Ice Classic Edition 33 (CE33) is a traditional log-and-brick electric firebox that slides into an existing fireplace opening as an insert or builds into a framed wall. It is the simple way to bring a working hearth back to a dead masonry fireplace or to add one to a bedroom or den with no gas line or venting. WiFi app control, a full-feature remote and a 1,500 W heater that runs independently of the flame are standard.

  • You will need: a grounded 120 V outlet within reach of the cord (no extension cords), and either an existing fireplace opening or a framed cabinet built to the dimensions above

Installation Notes

As an insert, the firebox slides into an existing fireplace opening that is larger than the back of the unit (32.2 x 26.4 x 8.7 in); the manual shows small side and top gaps around the body behind the trim. As a built-in, frame a cabinet to 33.0 x 26.7 x 9.7 in, keep it at least 3 ft from curtains, bedding and other combustibles, and test the unit on a grounded 120 V outlet before you close the wall.

Plug the fireplace directly into a wall outlet; Amantii says never to use an extension cord or power strip. Electric fireplaces need no gas line, chimney or venting, which is why they are allowed in most New York City apartments and co-ops. Your building may still require an alteration agreement for any in-wall electrical work, so check before you open a wall.

Will it fit my existing fireplace?

The body behind the trim is 32.2 in W x 26.4 in H x 8.7 in D. Measure the width, height and depth of your firebox opening and allow a little clearance around the unit.

Does it need a chimney or gas line?

No. It plugs into a standard 120 V grounded outlet and vents nothing, so the chimney can stay closed.

Can I run the flame without heat?

Yes. The heater and flame run independently, so you can use the flame year round.

Does it have WiFi?

Yes. The manual covers WiFi pairing with the Tuya Smart app, and a remote is included.

Warranty

Amantii warrants Fire and Ice Classic Edition fireplaces to be free from manufacturing and material defects for one (1) year from the date of original purchase. Coverage applies to the original owner of a unit bought from an authorized Amantii dealer in the United States or Canada, with proof of purchase, and is limited to repair or replacement of parts Amantii confirms are defective. Unauthorized repair, modification, misuse, accident or abuse voids the warranty. See the manual for full terms.
