The Amantii Insert Series 30 (INS-FM-30) is the smaller of Amantii's two electric inserts, sized for compact masonry or metal fireplaces. The firebox slides into the old opening and a 38 x 24-7/8 inch steel surround covers the face, so an unused wood fireplace becomes a working flame and heat source without gas, venting or masonry work. Amantii also lists it for new construction and renovation projects.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

Electric inserts are one of the simplest ways to bring an unused masonry fireplace back into use in New York City apartments, co-ops and brownstones, since the appliance itself needs no gas line or venting. Amantii calls for placement on wood or a non-combustible surface, never on linoleum or carpet, and warns that mantels, shelves, decorations and a TV above the unit must stay clear of elevated temperatures. Will it fit my existing fireplace?

The firebox is 29-3/8 in wide, 19 in high and 8-3/4 in deep, and the 38 x 24-7/8 in surround must cover your opening. Send us your opening width, height and depth and we will confirm.

Do I need a chimney or vent?

No. It is an electric appliance and needs no venting.

Can I use it without heat?

Yes. The flame operates with or without the heater.

Is there a larger size?

Yes. The INS-FM-34 has a 33-1/8 in wide by 23-1/8 in high firebox and a 42 x 30 in surround.

Warranty

Amantii warrants the fireplace against manufacturing and material defects for two years from the date of first purchase, for the original purchaser in the US and Canada. Light bulbs are excluded, and Amantii does not cover service or labor charges. Proof of purchase is required for warranty service.
