Napoleon Rosedale™ 2 Electric Fireplace Insert
The Rosedale™ 2 drops into an existing masonry or prefabricated opening and turns a cold, unused firebox into a working fireplace in an afternoon. Multi-layer flame technology mirrors the depth and motion of a real fire behind a hand-finished oak log set, and the unit runs on household power — plug it in or hardwire it, with no gas line, liner or chimney work.

Choosing Your Configuration
Only the base insert is required. The Rosedale™ 2 arrives with its oak log set and premium remote and is a complete, operating fireplace on its own.
Surround is optional but recommended for insert installations — a backerplate covers the gap between the insert and the surrounding masonry for a finished look. Choose a large 3-sided or 4-sided backerplate, a trimmable backerplate for non-standard openings, or the 3-sided backerplate paired with the small 4-sided faceplate for a fully framed presentation. Wall Controller is optional — the premium handheld remote is already included; the wallmount controller (W370-0317) adds a hardwired switch plate with a black or white cover.
