What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: insert with blower, remote and receiver, clear glass burner media, surround with integrated screen in the size and finish ordered
- Required: a working masonry or factory-built wood-burning fireplace with a clean, sound chimney; two 3 in. aluminum liners and an approved vertical termination cap (such as Duravent 46DVA-VC)
- Required: gas line with shutoff and a 110 V outlet in the fireplace
Installation Notes
The TWENTY6 FI must be installed by a qualified installer per the Solas manual, with two 3 in. liners run 10 to 36 ft up the existing chimney to a vertical cap and restrictor settings matched to the vent length. Horizontal termination is not allowed. In New York City, gas work requires a licensed master plumber and permits, and the chimney should be inspected before relining. Book a free design consultation and we will check your fireplace and chimney before you order.

How does it vent?
Through two 3 in. aluminum liners up the existing chimney, 10 to 36 ft, to a vertical cap.
Does it work in a power outage?
