The EcoSmart Fire Ark 40 is a round fire pit table with a curved body and a wide lip that is ideal for perching a drink. Choose the AB8 bioethanol burner for a fire with no gas line, or the grade 304 stainless gas burner for propane or natural gas at up to 65,000 BTU/h. It works as both a coffee table and a fire feature for a terrace, rooftop, patio or pool deck.

  • Gas models: a propane tank or a natural gas line and shutoff installed by a licensed gas professional
  • Optional from EcoSmart: glass fire screen, all seasons cover, silicone burner cover, glass cover plate and a matching tank enclosure

Installation Notes

Set the table on a level, non-combustible surface and adjust the feet; do not place it on grass, artificial turf, carpet or loose rock. Propane and natural gas versions are for outdoor use only. The ethanol version is rated for indoor and outdoor use, but EcoSmart requires additional parts for indoor use, so tell us at order time. Natural gas connections in New York City must be made by a licensed master plumber under permit, and propane cylinders and open flame are restricted on many NYC terraces and rooftops, so confirm with your building before ordering. Frequently Asked Questions

Ethanol or gas?

Ethanol needs no gas line and can be relocated; gas gives up to 65,000 BTU/h of continuous heat but is outdoor only.

Can I use it indoors?

Only the ethanol version, and only with the additional indoor parts EcoSmart specifies, including the indoor safety tray and efficiency ring.

How heavy is it?

About 128 lb in concrete or 123 lb in teak with the burner and glass charcoal, so plan for two people to place it.

Does it come with a wind screen?

Teak models include a glass fire screen. For concrete models EcoSmart offers recessed round and raised round screens as options.

Warranty

EcoSmart Fire provides a transferable limited warranty from the date of purchase: 2 years on stainless steel parts, including raw, linished, powder-coated and black ceramic coated finishes, and 1 year on mild steel, cement, glass, leather, fabric, teak and MDF. Chips and scratches are not covered, and natural variation or non-structural hairline cracks in Fluid Concrete are not defects. Where snow accumulates, EcoSmart requires its cover to be used to keep coverage.
