The EcoSmart Fire Mimosa 40 is a round Fluid Concrete fire table with a generous tabletop and a recessed base. It comes with an AB8 bioethanol burner in stainless steel or black, which needs no chimney, gas line or electrical connection, or a stainless G16T burner for propane or plumbed natural gas rated at 65,000 BTU/h for outdoor use. Each concrete table is handcrafted, and three finishes are offered: Natural, Graphite and Bone.

  • Ethanol: e-NRG bioethanol fuel, the only fuel EcoSmart approves; for indoor use the Indoor Safety Tray and other indoor parts, which must be specified when ordering
  • Gas: a natural gas line run by a licensed plumber, or a propane cylinder placed per the burner manual
  • Optional from EcoSmart: R20 glass fire screen, R20 glass cover plate, All-Season cover, AB8 silicone burner cover, heat-resistant floor mat and the Tank propane enclosure

Installation Notes

Do not remove the feet, since they provide airflow under the table, and keep the burner base away from flammable materials. On timber, natural stone, unsealed concrete or carpet, EcoSmart recommends its floor mat to help prevent moisture buildup. Use the burner lid when the fire is off. Gas models are for outdoor use only. In New York City, gas work must be done by a licensed master plumber under a DOB permit, and propane tank storage in the city carries FDNY rules, so confirm the fuel with us before you order. Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the Mimosa 40 indoors?

Only the ethanol version, with the additional indoor parts and a room of at least 4,096 cu ft. Gas versions are outdoor only.

Can it become a coffee table?

Yes. The optional R20 glass cover plate turns it into a usable coffee table surface.

Is a black burner available on gas?

The black ceramic burner is offered on the ethanol versions; gas versions use the stainless G16T burner.

How heavy is it?

About 125.8 lb including the burner and media.

Warranty

Per the EcoSmart operations manual, the transferable limited warranty is two years from purchase on stainless steel parts, including black ceramic coated, and one year on mild steel, cement, glass, leather, fabric, teak and MDF. Chips, scratches and non-structural hairline cracks in Fluid Concrete are not covered. Where snow is likely to accumulate, the winter cover is required to keep coverage.
