The Modern Flames Landscape Pro Multi 120 (LPM-12016) is a 10-foot built-in electric fireplace that can be framed in as a single-sided unit, a left or right corner, or a three-sided bay, so one model covers a long media wall, a room divider or a peninsula. Edge-to-edge glass shows almost 120 inches of LED flame, and the flame, ember bed and downlight each take any color in the RGB spectrum. It needs no vent or gas line, only a dedicated electrical circuit.

Installation Notes

The fireplace is hardwired only; a licensed electrician should run a dedicated circuit to the framed opening before drywall. Frame the opening to 120-3/8 in. W x 25-1/4 in. H x 12 in. D and keep combustible furnishings at least 3 ft from the front of the heater. Decide on single, corner or bay configuration before framing, since it sets which glass and side panels are used. Modern Flames also publishes covered outdoor installation instructions (base at least 2 in. above the floor, overhang and side distance each at least 50% of the height from the bottom of the fireplace); installs outside those instructions void the warranty. A 10-foot unit is a two to three person install, so plan access through doors, elevators and stairwells, especially in NYC apartments. We plan electrical, framing and finish details during a design consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can it plug into a wall outlet?

No. The Landscape Pro Multi is hardwire only and needs a dedicated 20 A circuit at 120V, or a 20 A 2-pole circuit for 240V and 10,000 BTU heat.

Can I mount a TV above it?

It is a common media wall choice because heat discharges from the front. Follow the manual's framing and finish details and keep the TV clear of the heater outlet.

Do I have to choose corner or bay before ordering?

No. The same unit converts between single, corner and three-sided bay with its included glass and side panels, but you need to decide before framing because the rough opening and finish differ.

How much will it heat?

About 5,000 BTU on 120V or 10,000 BTU on 240V, rated in the current listing for up to 400 or 800 sq ft of supplemental heat.
