The Modern Flames Landscape Pro Multi 56 (LPM-5616) is a linear electric fireplace you can set up as a single-sided front, a left or right corner, or a three-sided bay, then build it in, partially recess it or wall mount it. That flexibility makes it a fit for peninsulas, room dividers and TV walls.

Hybrid-FX flame technology produces a random, lifelike flame, and the flame, ember bed and downlight colors are controlled separately. It heats with a 1,465 W (5,000 BTU) PTC heater on 120V, or up to 10,000 BTU when wired for 240V, and it is approved for covered outdoor locations as well as indoors.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

Frame to 56-3/8 in. W x 25-1/4 in. H x 12 in. D for a built-in install. A qualified electrician must hard-wire the fireplace to a dedicated 20 A circuit; for 10,000 BTU operation it needs a 220-240V, 20 A circuit with a 2-pole breaker. For outdoor use, Modern Flames requires a covered location away from direct water contact and direct sunlight, and outdoor installs not done per the manual void the warranty. Electric fireplaces need no gas line or venting, which makes them one of the simplest fireplace options for New York City apartments and co-ops, subject to building and board approval for the electrical work. Book a free design consultation and we will help you plan the layout, utilities and installation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can it be used outdoors?

Yes. Modern Flames approves it for indoor and outdoor use under a patio cover, away from direct water contact and direct sunlight.

Does it plug in?

No. It is hard-wired to a dedicated 20 A circuit. Wiring it for 240V doubles the heat to 10,000 BTU.

Can I change from a single-sided to a corner layout?

The fireplace ships with front and side glass plus metal side panels, so the same unit can be set up as single-sided, corner or three-sided during installation.

Can it go under a TV?

Yes, it is a common TV wall choice. Follow the Modern Flames clearance guidance in the manual for the TV above.
