What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included: NEFVC32H fireplace, crystal ember media, wall mount bracket and remote, per the Napoleon manual and listing
  • Required: a 15 A, 120V grounded outlet, or hardwiring by an electrician
  • Required for a partial recess: a non-load-bearing framed opening 30-3/4 x 14-1/2 in., at least 3-1/2 in. deep
  • Taller option: Allure Vertical 38 (NEFVC38H), which adds a birch log set

Installation Notes

Fasten the bracket into studs with the NEFVC32H template in the Napoleon manual, or frame a recess 30-3/4 x 14-1/2 in. and at least 3-1/2 in. deep. Keep the heat vents clear and leave room above to lift the unit onto its bracket. Electric fireplaces need no gas line or venting, which makes them a practical choice for New York City apartments and co-ops, subject to building or board approval for any electrical work.
