The SOLAS ONE6 FS is a slim freestanding direct vent gas stove with clean European lines and a tall glass front, sized for living rooms and dens where a full fireplace will not fit. It burns over a bed of glass media with reflective porcelain enamel firebox liners, and a remote control comes standard.
SOLAS rates it at 13,500 Btu/h high and 7,500 low on natural gas or propane. This listing is the natural gas, top vent model (FS-16N-TV); it sits just 1 in. from side and rear walls and vents up to 20 ft vertical or 10 ft horizontal.

Installation Notes
The ONE6 FS needs only 1 in. to the side and rear walls and 19 in. from the stove top to the ceiling, and it must sit on a metal or wood panel over carpet or vinyl. It vents with 4 in. x 6-5/8 in. direct vent pipe: up to 20 ft vertical and/or 10 ft horizontal with elbows, or up to 30 in. straight through the wall. The stove ships with a custom DuraVent GS starter section that must be used whichever pipe brand you choose. Installation must be done by a qualified, licensed gas installer. In New York City, direct vent gas fireplaces are installed under the NYC Fuel Gas Code by a licensed plumber with DOB filing where required, and the vent termination location usually decides feasibility. Warranty
SOLAS Limited Lifetime Warranty, per the installation manual: the product body and firebox are covered for the lifetime of the original owner, and ceramic glass for life against thermal breakage only. The burner is covered for 3 years; gas components and electrical components, blowers and remote controls, gaskets, porcelain firebox liners (against cracking or breakage from thermal stress) and surrounds for 1 year, with SOLAS paying its prevailing labor rates for each component's warranty period. Coverage is non-transferable, requires purchase from a listed SOLAS supplier with proof of purchase, and requires installation and repair by a SOLAS-approved licensed contractor.
