The Majestic Vesper 36 (VOFB36) is a stainless steel vent-free outdoor gas firebox from Outdoor Lifestyles by Hearth & Home Technologies, with a tall 36 in. by 27 in. view and a brick-to-brick opening that reads like real masonry. It is built for patios, porches and outdoor rooms where a chimney is not practical.

This listing is configured as a complete fireplace: choose the traditional or herringbone concrete refractory, the natural gas or propane Lumonessen LUM-OD burner, and one of three 24 in. log sets.

Installation Notes

Install the Vesper on a flat surface that extends the full width and depth of the firebox, as a stand-alone unit or built into a wall. Outdoors means open sky with walls on all sides, or an overhead cover with no more than two side walls, or three side walls with at least 30 percent of the perimeter permanently open, per the manual. Keep the clearances in the installation manual and follow the burner and log set instructions. Vent-free gas appliances cannot be installed in New York City under the NYC Fuel Gas Code. We sell this model for installations outside the five boroughs where local code allows it. Book a design consultation to plan the layout, utilities and installation.

Warranty

Outdoor Lifestyles by Hearth & Home Technologies Limited Lifetime Warranty, per the Vesper owner's manual (4153-900): the product body, metal firebox and heat exchanger carry the limited lifetime warranty from the date of installation. Gas and electrical components, gaskets, nickel plated materials, glass, logs, refractory and glass panels (thermal breakage), venting, optional accessories, optional doors and labor for warranty service are covered for one year from installation. Coverage requires purchase through an authorized HHT dealer and applies while the fireplace remains at its original installation site.
