The Futuro 2 Pizze is Alfa's larger-format gas pizza oven, finished here in White Stone. A 27.5 x 15.7 in HeatKeeper firebrick floor and a stainless front with a glass door give it a modern look and room for two 12 inch pizzas at once. It reaches 1000 F (500 C) in about 30 minutes, so it suits a patio cook who wants fast, repeatable pizza and the option to add a wood-burning Hybrid Kit later.

Installation Notes

This is an outdoor oven. Alfa's manual calls for at least 8 in (20 cm) from walls and other equipment, 20 in (50 cm) around the flue and 1 m (about 3 ft) above the oven, on a flat, stable surface away from wind. Gas hookup should be done by a licensed installer. For planning help in NYC and Long Island, book a design consultation.

Can it cook with wood?

It is a gas oven as shipped. Alfa's Hybrid Kit adds wood firing.

Alfa lists 11 in WC for propane and 4 in WC for natural gas.
