The Summerset Hybrid Pizza Oven (OV-HYB natural gas, OV-HYBL propane) is a countertop oven that cooks on gas or on wood, with a gas starter that lights the wood fire for you. It has a 390 sq in. cordierite stone deck, #443 stainless steel construction, a digital thermometer with two meat probes and an 18 in. chimney with damper. It is for outdoor cooks who want the convenience of gas for weeknights and real wood flavor on weekends, set on a non-combustible countertop.

Installation Notes
This oven is listed for countertop or tabletop use only, on a non-combustible surface, and must not be built into an outdoor kitchen island or cabinet. Keep 16 in. to unprotected combustible walls and 5 ft to overhead construction, and have natural gas connections made by a licensed plumber; in New York City that means a licensed master plumber and permit for gas piping. Can I build it into my outdoor kitchen island?
No. Summerset lists the Hybrid oven for countertop or tabletop use only on a non-combustible surface, not built into an island or cabinet.
How hot does it get?
Summerset rates it up to 932 F (500 C), and the manual uses about 575 F as the preheat target for pizza.
How do I switch to wood?
Load wood on the stainless wood rack and use the gas wood starter to light it; ash falls into the ash tray.
Is the propane tank included?
No. The OV-HYBL ships with an LP regulator and hose; the 20 lb tank is not included.
