This package pairs the Gozney Dome XL (Gen 2) pizza oven in Off Black with the rolling Dome (Gen 2) and XL Stand. The Dome XL is the largest Dome, a dual-fuel outdoor oven that runs on propane or on wood and charcoal, with a digital console that reads air and floor temperature, runs a cooking timer and takes meat probes. The stand gives it a mobile base with prep space and gas bottle storage.

Installation Notes

The Dome XL is for outdoor use only. Gozney says not to use it in a building, garage or enclosed area, under any apartment, balcony or deck, or on or under any combustible structure, and to face the mouth away from the wind. Keep 3 ft 4 in in front and 1 ft at the sides and back from combustibles, and keep the dock clear for airflow. Propane cylinders and open flame are restricted on many NYC terraces and rooftops, so confirm with your building or co-op before ordering. Can I use it on an apartment balcony?

No. Gozney says not to use the Dome or Dome XL under any apartment, balcony or deck.

Can I use gas and wood together?

No. Use either the gas burner or a wood and charcoal fire, and never use the gas burner to light wood.

What size propane tank do I need?

At least a 20 lb (9 kg) cylinder; Gozney recommends 40 lb or more for best performance.

How heavy is the oven?

Gozney lists the Dome XL at 73 kg (161 lb), so the surface must be level and strong enough to hold it.
