Installation Notes
Hestan recommends installation by a qualified technician or plumber under local building and plumbing codes; in New York City, water and drain connections must be made by a licensed plumber. Two people should lift the unit into the cutout, set it in a bead of clear silicone around the frame, and secure the high shelf with the supplied hardware. Hestan outdoor products are approved for outdoor use only. Book a free design consultation and we will coordinate the cutout, plumbing and island layout.
Documentation
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it need gas or electricity?
No. Hestan lists no electrical or gas requirements. It needs water supply and drain connections only.
Is the faucet included?
Yes. The GRCHS30 includes the outdoor-rated stainless pull-out faucet. The insulated sink version without the faucet is a different Hestan model.
Can I add a garbage disposal?
The 3-1/2 inch drain hole accepts a basket strainer or a food-waste disposer, but neither is included, so your plumber should plan for them before the sink is mounted.
Can it go in a covered or indoor space?
Hestan states its outdoor products are approved for outdoor use only.
