The Lynx LIJ30 insulated jacket lets you install the Lynx Professional 30 in built-in grill in an island framed with combustible materials. The stainless liner drops into the framed opening and the grill hangs inside it on the liner lip.

  • You will need: the grill and a level island frame with a full solid base cut to the dimensions above

Installation Notes

Frame the opening level on a full solid base, cut 4 in square holes for gas (right side) and electrical (left side) access, set the liner so nothing combustible sits above its top or in front of its face, then hang the grill on the liner lip. Never put the transformer or a quick-disconnect hose between the grill and the jacket (Lynx instructions). A Lynx SmartGrill installed in this jacket needs extension cables, so order them with the jacket.
