The Kenyon Frontier B70050 is a 21 in built-in electric grill with a hinged stainless lid and touch control, running on 120 V. A concealed electric element heats a nonstick grate from below, so you get real grill marks with no open flame, no flare-ups and very little smoke, which makes it a fit for condo terraces, covered patios, kitchens and boats where gas or charcoal is not an option.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

- You will need: a grounded 120 V outlet within reach of the cord on its own breaker-protected circuit, and a countertop cut to 19-3/4 x 11-5/8 in with 1/4 in radius corners

Installation Notes
Kenyon requires installation to national, state and local electrical codes on an individual grounded circuit protected by a breaker rated for the model, with no extension cord. Plan the countertop with at least 36 in from the floor, 4 in from the backsplash to the grill and 1-1/2 in from the counter front, keep overhead cabinets no deeper than 13 in and at least 30 in above the grill (24 in with protected cabinet bottoms), and leave 2 in of clearance below the grill to any combustible surface such as a drawer, with ventilation in the cabinet below. The flange mounts with four screws; Kenyon recommends a non-adhesive sealant such as plumber's putty under it. A built-in grill must be sheltered from direct rain. The 120 V model uses a GFCI cord; never remove the GFCI device.
In New York City, FDNY rules restrict propane and charcoal grilling on the balconies and terraces of multifamily buildings, which is why many apartment owners choose an electric grill; building rules still vary, so confirm with your board or management before you buy. Warranty
Kenyon warrants its grills against defects in materials and workmanship for three (3) years from the date of original installation or 42 months from the invoice date, whichever comes first, covering parts and labor at pre-approved rates; the stainless steel carries a lifetime guarantee to stay rust free when it is cared for monthly as the owner's manual describes. The unit must be returned to Kenyon for evaluation, and failures from glass breakage, corrosion, wear and tear, abuse, neglect, or improper installation or maintenance are excluded (Kenyon statement of warranty).
