- We allow returns on all new, unused, unassembled, and "resalable" items in their original packaging within 30 days of the delivery date for a refund (minus the original shipping costs, and the shipping costs you incur shipping the product back). Naturally, if your return is because of our error, you are not responsible for any shipping costs.

Description
The Kingsman OFP42WCSS is the stainless steel weather cover for the OFP42 outdoor gas fireplace (Marquis Aurora). The OFP42 manual describes the optional weather cover as protection for the inside of the unit when it is not in use; it fits behind the top lip of the firebox and drops into place.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes
Turn the valve off and wait until the fireplace is cool, draw the curtains toward the center leaving 7-1/2 in. at each frame side, slide the cover up behind the top lip of the firebox, then push the bottom in and let it drop into place. Remove it before lighting. In New York City, outdoor gas fireplaces and their gas piping need NYC Fuel Gas Code and Department of Buildings approval, and propane at residences is restricted by the NYC Fire Code, so we review the space before quoting.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can it stay on while the fire is lit?
No. The manual fits it only with the valve off and the fireplace cool; remove it before lighting.
Is there a black version?
Yes. Kingsman also offers a black weather cover for the OFP42.

Warranty
Kingsman OFP42 limited warranty, per the OFP42 manual: the burner is warranted against defects for five years, and other components such as gas valves, thermocouples, igniters, lights and media for one year. Scratches, dents, painted finishes, corrosion and heat discoloration are not covered. Coverage applies only at the original installation site in the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada, with the unit installed and operated to the printed instructions and local codes.
