The American Made Grills Atlas 36 is a freestanding gas grill on an integrated #304 stainless steel cart, with three 18,000 BTU U-tube burners and 853 square inches of cooking area. It is made in the USA and aimed at the buyer who wants a 36-inch grill with a lifetime warranty and a finished cart, without building an island.

Heavy-duty 8mm square grates, two multi-position warming racks, interior halogen lights and LED-lit knobs come standard, and a sear burner, rotisserie kit, griddle and smoker tray are available as add-ons.

Installation Notes

Place the cart on a level, non-combustible surface and keep the wall and overhead clearances listed above. Gas connection must be made by a qualified installer using the supplied regulator set for your fuel. In New York City, gas work must be done by a licensed master plumber under a DOB permit, and propane tank storage carries FDNY rules, so confirm your fuel with us before you order. Frequently Asked Questions

How many BTUs does the Atlas 36 have?

American Made Grills lists three 18,000 BTU U-tube burners for 54,000 BTU. Some dealer sheets show 16,500 BTU per burner, so we use the manufacturer figure.

Does it have an infrared burner?

No infrared main or rear burner is listed. An 18,000 BTU drop-in sear burner and a rotisserie kit are available as options.

Is the cart included?

Yes. The Atlas 36 freestanding grill is sold with its integrated cart, pre-assembled.

Natural gas or propane?

Both are offered. Choose the fuel at order; the regulator must be set for that fuel.

Warranty

American Made Grills backs this grill with its Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty on construction and manufacturer defects, stainless steel construction, cooking grates, burners, burner covers, valves, flame tamers, heat zone separators, temperature gauges, hood springs and briquette systems. All other parts and components, including electrical parts such as LED bulbs, wire harness, switches, transformer and the interior halogen light wire and bulb, are warranted for three years.
