Description

Available Sizes: American Made Grills Ovation Freestanding Propane Hybrid Grills

36" | 42" (Current Size) | 54"

The American Made Grills Ovation 42-inch freestanding hybrid grill (OVAFS42-LP) cooks on propane, charcoal, lump charcoal or hardwood in the same #304 stainless firebox, with 6 burners at 22,000 BTU each (132,000 BTU total) under a 16-gauge double-lined hood. It pairs the architectural Estate-style front with patented 14-gauge fuel trays, so you can light gas for a Tuesday dinner and build a live wood fire on Saturday.

It is built, factory tested and serviced in the USA, and the box includes the accessory kit most buyers end up adding later: rotisserie, griddle, drop-in infrared sear burner and fuel kit.

Features

  • Patented 14-gauge hybrid fuel trays for gas, charcoal, lump charcoal and hardwood
  • Six 14-gauge #304 stainless tube burners, 22,000 BTU each, with heat zone separators
  • Reversible 9-gauge V-shaped cooking grates
  • 16-gauge double-lined hood with spring assist and adjustable hood vents
  • Rotisserie back burner, plus included rotisserie kit
  • Flame thrower ignition, interior halogen lights and LED light over each knob
  • Easy-clean drip pan with drain system
  • Matching freestanding cart with storage, side prep space and casters

Dimensions and Cutout

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included: weather-proof vinyl grill head cover, rotisserie kit, grate lifting tools, stainless griddle plate, drop-in infrared sear burner, leather gloves, wood and charcoal fuel kit, care kit
  • You will need: a standard 20 lb propane cylinder (stored in the cart)
  • You will need: a GFCI-protected outlet nearby for the lighting

Installation Notes

Keep the cart outdoors on a level surface with clearance from combustible walls and never under an unprotected overhang. In NYC, 20 lb propane cylinders are allowed at one- and two-family homes but not on balconies, roofs or terraces of multi-family buildings.

Charcoal and wood produce more smoke and radiant heat than gas; under a roof, plan an outdoor-rated vent hood sized to the grill.
