The Broil King Regal Q 590 Pro Infrared is a five-burner cart grill with Broil King's iQue smart control. The digital controller has Smoke, Roast and Grill presets and works with the iQue app over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and two electronic meat probes are included. Five stainless Dual-Tube burners deliver 55,000 BTU under 625 sq in of primary cooking space, with a 10,000 BTU infrared side burner for searing and a 15,000 BTU rear burner with a premium rotisserie kit. Propane models add a pull-out tank scale.

  • Optional: an outdoor-rated extension cord (UL, CSA or ETL, 14 AWG minimum, no longer than 50 ft)

Installation Notes

This is a freestanding cart grill for outdoor use only. Broil King requires 30 in from combustible surfaces at each side and at the rear or front, and prohibits operation under any overhead roof construction or foliage, or in a garage, shed, balcony or other enclosed area. Plug the grill into a GFCI-protected outlet. A natural gas hookup should be made by a qualified installer; in New York City a fixed natural gas line requires a licensed master plumber and a DOB permit, and FDNY restricts propane cylinder storage and use, so most city installs run on natural gas. Talk to our design team about the best fuel and placement for your yard or terrace.

What does iQue do?

The iQue controller monitors and adjusts the burners to hold your set temperature, with Smoke, Roast and Grill presets, and the iQue app lets you watch the cook and probe temperatures from your phone.

Does it need power?

Yes. Broil King says to plug the grill into a GFCI-protected supply for the controller and lights.

Can I use it on a covered patio or balcony?

No. Broil King prohibits operation under overhead roof construction and on balconies, and requires 30 in from combustibles.

Is it available for natural gas?

Yes. Broil King lists SKU 688247 for natural gas and 688244 for propane; choose the fuel in the variant selector.

Warranty

Broil King lists a limited lifetime warranty on the stainless and porcelain lid components and the cookbox, 15 years on grids, Dual-Tube burners, side and rear burners, stainless Flav-R-Wave, stainless components and remaining parts and paint, and 3 years on the iQue control. The owner's manual text also limits Flav-R-Wave rust-through coverage; surface rust is not covered.
