What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

Freestanding 5 Series grills are designed for outdoor use only. Position the grill so the prevailing wind blows into the front control panel, keep it level, and keep at least 12 in. from combustible construction at the sides and back below the cooking surface and 18 in. above it, with no unprotected overhead combustibles (Viking use and care manual).

Gas connections must be made by a licensed plumber or gas fitter. In New York City that means a licensed master plumber and permit for natural gas, and propane cylinders are restricted on terraces and rooftops by the FDNY. Natural gas or propane?

Choose the fuel in the options. The model number ends in N for natural gas or L for propane. Order the version that matches the gas supply at your site.

What is the ProSear burner?

It is a 23,000 BTU infrared burner that replaces one standard burner position and runs much hotter at the grate for steakhouse-style searing.

Is the rotisserie included?

Yes. The rotisserie motor, spit and a rear infrared rotisserie burner are included, with two roasting positions.

Is a cover included?

No. Add the fitted Viking cover with the With Cover option.
