Overall Dimensions: 59-3/4 in W x 26-3/8 in D x 11-5/8 in H, per the Lynx insulated jacket install guide
The Lynx LIJ54 is the insulated jacket for a Lynx Professional 54 in built-in gas grill. Lynx requires a jacket whenever the grill goes into an island built from combustible materials: the stainless liner drops into the framed opening and the grill hangs inside it on the liner lip.
Features
- Insulated stainless liner for Lynx Professional 54 in built-in grills
- Required for installs in combustible islands
- Liner supports the grill on its lip with no extra fasteners
- Gas and electrical entries through 4 in square openings at the rear or bottom
- Included 1 in screws replace the grill side screws to close the gap to the cabinet

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Lynx LIJ54 insulated jacket and 1 in replacement screws, per the Lynx install guide
- You will need: a level island frame on a full solid base cut to 60 in W x 26-1/2 in D x 11-5/8 in H, and a Lynx Professional 54 in built-in grill
Installation Notes
Build a level frame on a full solid base that can carry the jacket, grill and finish materials, then cut the 4 in square gas and electrical openings. No part of the combustible enclosure may stand above the liner top or in front of its face; shim the liner if needed. Set the grill on the liner lip, then swap the two side screws for the supplied 1 in screws one at a time. Keep the regulator outside the jacket and never run gas tubing, a quick disconnect hose or the transformer inside it. In New York City, gas appliances are connected under the NYC Fuel Gas Code by a licensed master plumber, and FDNY rules restrict propane on many terraces and rooftops, so confirm the fuel your building allows.
