Description
Description
Overall Dimensions: 30" W x 27.88" D x 25" H
The Lynx Professional L30TR-LP is a 30-inch built-in grill for an outdoor kitchen island, pairing one Trident infrared burner with one cast ceramic burner under ceramic radiant briquettes. You get a true high-heat searing zone and a steady radiant zone on the same 600 square inch grate, plus a dual-position rotisserie with its own rear infrared burner. It suits homes without a natural gas line, set at the factory for propane.

Installation Notes
The L30TR drops into a non-combustible island; a combustible enclosure needs the LIJ30 insulated jacket, supported by a ledge on each side or a full deck. Lynx calls for 12 in. of clearance from the sides and 6-1/4 in. from the back to combustible construction above the countertop, and 3 in. behind the grill so the hood can open. Do not install under unprotected overhead combustible construction; under a covered roof the cooking area needs an exhaust hood. Propane inlet pressure is 14 in. w.c. maximum and 11 in. w.c. minimum under full load. If the cylinder lives inside the island, the manual requires vent openings near the top and at floor level of that enclosure (at least 10 sq in each per 20 lb cylinder), and spare cylinders are never stored in or near the grill. In New York City, propane cylinder use on terraces and rooftops is heavily restricted by the FDNY, so most city installs use the natural gas model instead. To plan the island and fuel supply, book a design consultation with our team.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the L30TR-LP go into a wood-framed island?
Yes, with the Lynx LIJ30 insulated jacket. Lynx requires the jacket for any combustible enclosure, and the cutout must be sized for the jacket rather than the bare grill.
Where does the propane tank go?
Either outside the island or inside a cabinet that has the top and floor-level vent openings the Lynx manual specifies; a bulk tank run by a licensed installer is another option. Spare cylinders should never be stored in or near the grill.
Can I switch it to natural gas later?
Yes. Lynx lists the PRONGK1 conversion kit for Professional grills, installed by a qualified gas technician. We also carry the factory natural gas version, the L30TR-NG.
Does it need electricity?
Yes. Hot Surface Ignition, the lights and the rotisserie motor run from an outdoor 120V/15A GFCI outlet next to the grill.
