Each size pairs one Trident infrared main burner with ceramic main burners and includes a rotisserie. The 30″ has 2 main burners, 36″ and 42″ have 3, and 54″ has 4. Cooking area, heat output and cutout dimensions vary. Select the matching finish and review the selected model’s specifications.

The Lynx Professional L30TR-NG is a 30-inch built-in grill for an outdoor kitchen island, pairing one Trident infrared burner with one cast ceramic burner under ceramic radiant briquettes. You get a true high-heat searing zone and a steady radiant zone on the same 600 square inch grate, plus a dual-position rotisserie with its own rear infrared burner. It is the compact Lynx for a terrace or courtyard kitchen that still wants full Professional series performance, set at the factory for natural gas.

Installation Notes
The L30TR drops into a non-combustible island; a combustible enclosure needs the LIJ30 insulated jacket, supported by a ledge on each side or a full deck. Lynx calls for 12 in. of clearance from the sides and 6-1/4 in. from the back to combustible construction above the countertop, and 3 in. behind the grill so the hood can open. Do not install under unprotected overhead combustible construction; under a covered roof the cooking area needs an exhaust hood. Natural gas inlet pressure is 7 in. w.c. maximum and 4 in. w.c. minimum under full load. In New York City, rooftop and terrace gas grills are regulated by the FDNY and the Department of Buildings and gas piping must be run by a licensed master plumber, so we review the space first. Frequently Asked Questions
Can the L30TR-NG go into a wood-framed island?
Yes, with the Lynx LIJ30 insulated jacket. Lynx requires the jacket for any combustible enclosure, and the cutout must be sized for the jacket rather than the bare grill.
What is the difference between the L30TR and the L30ATR?
The L30TR pairs one Trident infrared burner with one ceramic burner (48,000 BTU combined). The L30ATR uses two Trident burners (46,000 BTU) for infrared across the whole grate.
Can I switch it to propane later?
Yes. Lynx lists the PROLPK1 conversion kit for Professional grills, installed by a qualified gas technician. We also carry the factory propane version, the L30TR-LP.
Does it need electricity?
Yes. Hot Surface Ignition, the lights and the rotisserie motor run from an outdoor 120V/15A GFCI outlet next to the grill.

Current Lynx Professional warranty (lynxgrills.com): one-year full warranty on the complete product, including parts and authorized labor pre-approved by Lynx; 90-day cosmetic warranty through the selling dealer; five-year limited warranty, parts only after year one, on the rotisserie infrared burner, firebox, drip tray, manifolds, gas valves, rotisserie motor, ignitor, warming racks, spit rods and briquette tray; lifetime limited warranty, parts only for the original purchaser, on the Trident burner, ceramic main burners and stainless components such as the grates, canopy, hood, control panel and bullnose against rust-through that affects structural integrity. Multi-user settings such as clubs and condominium common areas get a 90-day Residential Plus warranty; restaurants and other commercial use are excluded.
